Problem: Even though they were the industry’s top wall covering company, the sales approach for this traditional, family-owned business was getting stale. Rather than consulting with its market of designers and architects, the sales force were seen as mere order-takers.
Solution: CFS worked with the client for a year to reenergize, reeducate and re-inspire their sales force. After conducting an intensive sales training program with reps from across the country, CFS provided ongoing follow-up and reinforcement sessions. CFS also developed a Sales Playbook tailored to the needs of senior management, the regional sales managers, as well as the individual salespeople. Monthly strategy sessions proved the perfect forum to refine and reinforce expectations.
